Biography
Gacy’s Threads are a 5 piece hardcore metal band began in late 2007. Each member is a seasoned musician, drawn together by the urge to create an energetic, confronting and non compromising style of music that seemed to be vacant from the scene all over Ireland. Taking their main influences from artists such as Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I die and Norma Jean but planning on infusing it with each of their musical roots and influences to create something unique.
To date, the band have been constantly touring Ireland and had a short tour of Hungary. They released a self produced demo, ‘Eunuch’, selling over 600 copies and a 4 track E.P, ‘Savour Your Scars’, which is still currently selling strong.
Supported acts such as Cancer Bats, Fucked Up, August Burns Red, Horse the Band, and The Luchagors. With all this under their belt, a willingness to succeed and the balls to back it up, Gacy’s Threads reluctantly deny the accusations that they are the soundtrack to ALL violent behaviour!
